A Precious & Rare Pink Diamond Was Found In Angola ,The Country In Africa
This time a rare diamond was found in a mine in Angola, a country in Central Africa. A rare large diamond fragment of pink color was found there. Although the government of Angola has not directly disclosed this. Last Wednesday, a mine operator company in Australia reported this information. The diamond was found in the Lulo mine in the northeastern part of Angola, where the Australian company is engaged in the extraction of mineral resources.
Curiosity and excitement among investors around the world has increased as the news spread. The name of the Australian company is Lucapa Diamond. “This is the largest rare ‘pink’ diamond found in any mine in the world in the last 300 years,” they said in a statement to investors. The diamond piece is named ‘The Lulo Rose’. . Its weight is about 170 carats. The Angolan government named it after the mine where it was found in the diamond-rich Lulo mine in the country’s northeast.
When a precious stone is recovered from a mine, it is classified into different categories based on its rarity and purity. It has been tested by the government of Angola as IIA, which basically means that this stone is one of the rarest and purest of natural stones. The discovery of this diamond is considered to be a worldwide sensation.
The Angolan government congratulated the rescuers for finding it. Many precious diamonds have been found in the Lulo mine before by this Lukapa Diamond Company which is mainly an Australian company, but this time the diamond they found has never been recovered by anyone in the whole world. For this the company is getting appreciation all over the world.

Angola’s Minister of Mineral Resources, Diamantino Azevedo, said that this discovery makes a small country like Angola important to the whole world.
Everyone is expecting, this diamond is going to be sold in the international market at a record price. But in this there are still many processes to be completed which are still left, the diamond needs a good size to fetch a good price in the international market, so to give the actual size the diamond may lose 50 percent weight and after that it has to be polished and sold.
This is not the first time, such pink diamonds have been sold at record prices in international markets in the past. Earlier, a diamond was auctioned in the international market in Hong Kong in 2017 and a 59.6 carat ‘Pink Star’ diamond was sold for USD 71.2 million.
Till date, it is the most expensive pink diamond sold in the international market, although everyone expects ‘The Lulo Rose’ to surpass it.
