Make pantua pitha with egg and flour and you will fall in love once you try it
Winter has come. The real fun of winter is the variety of pies. Many types of pithas are surely home made. Today I will talk about a different flavor pie. Pantua pitha is a special traditional pitha of Noakhali. Your acquaintances will be surprised by eating it.
Eggs, milk, flour, cardamom powder, salt, oil, food colour.
Mix 2 eggs, 1 cup of milk, 1 teaspoon of cardamom powder, a pinch of salt, 1/2 cup of sugar and 1-1/2 cups of flour well. Make a smooth batter.
Separate some batter and mix some food color in it.
Then heat oil and break 2 eggs. Add little salt and 1 spoon of sugar on top. Be careful not to break the egg yolk. Fold the eggs and keep aside in the pan. Add the colored batter to the empty space of the pan. Cover and cook for few seconds. Fold the batter with the egg.
Then again add white batter to the empty space. Fold when cooked. Create several layers like this. There is no problem if you are fat. Let it cool down and cut it and serve it on pantua pitha.
